Now this post isn't for the perfect folks who never have moments of weakness in their faith walk and everything is always rainbows, peaches and unicorns for them.


I can't relate. And I'm not going to try to. 🤷🏾‍♀️

But if you're an imperfect being striving for perfection who tends to fall short more often than they'd like - keep reading! ☺️

Has life ever punched you so hard it's like you can literally feel the wind being knocked out of you?

That's how I've felt these last few months.

And, I'm not ashamed to admit that with everrrrrything that's been happening, I've had moments where all I see is what's surrounding me and my faith starts to shake.

I can get so consumed with my issues and the RIGHT NOW that I forget that God is able to turn alllll of that around in an instant.

The same One who was with Daniel in the lion's den...

The same One who was with Jonah in the belly of the fish...

The same One who was with those three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace...

The same One who was with them is with me. And just because He's not moving on MY time it doesn't mean He's not there, He doesn't care and He doesn't have the ability to change my situation.

He can.
And will.
When He's ready.

Sometimes this flesh can be a mess. 🥴

I guess to sum it all up: Don't get so caught up in what's going on AROUND you that you forget to look UP - He's got you!

Have you ever heard the phrase "but they're family" (or some variation of it) in some point in your life? That phrase irks me. That phrase pretty much says they can say what they want, treat you like garbage, talk about you like a dog BUT because you share blood, you have to give it a pass. Naaaaah, sis. Let go, Let God

When we're going through a rough patch it's so hard to remember that we're going THROUGH that thing and not STAYING in it and we'll come through on the other side. Oh... it's not hard for you to remember that? 🤨 Well, for me myself personally, my human side can take over and I can get overwhelmed with my current circumstance. 😬 I know what He can do. I know what He has done. But again... I'm human. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Striving to make "Let go, Let God" more than just a saying but a true part of my life's walk so when things come up I don't trip and just sit back and let God be God.
